The Region of South Moravia together with ROSTENICE A.S. hosted on the 4-5 April 2023 a workshop focusing on regenerative and climate-smart agriculture and forestry.

The topics covered during the event, held in Rajhrad, Otnice, Křtiny, Cetkovic, included regenerative farming principles, erosion control measures, the School Forest Enterprise in Křtiny, and the cultivation and distribution of tree seedlings for future forests.

Innovative technologies such as automated cultivation and packaging of seedlings, water recycling for irrigation, and digital management of irrigation and fertilization were also presented to 24 representatives from the Region of South Moravia, the South Bohemian and Vysočina Regions, Lower Austria, agricultural experts and experts from forestry companies.
