Agromet is active in the field of holistic Precision Agriculture. The company has been developing in the field of agro-technology and provides holistic solutions under the fundamentals of Precision Agriculture by introducing up-to-the-minute technologies in order to fully meet the needs of stakeholders in agricultural production, such as producers, agricultural cooperatives, agronomists and agricultural companies.

Agromet IKE is the official distributor of dominating companies of the sector, such as Pessl Instruments GmbH and Trimble Agriculture. The categories of company’s precision farming systems are Agrometeorological Systems (weather systems, agrometeorological stations, sensors, pest monitoring, disease monitoring models), IoT technologies and distributed sensor systems, GPS Displays, Autoguidance Systems, Yield Monitoring, Laser Leveling Systems, Application Control (spraying, fertilization, seeding), Livestock Management, as well as state-of-the-art data collection, analysis and processing techniques-big data, analytics, machine learning, metric tools (seed moisture meters, grain analyzers, livestock instruments).

The company also offers a set of remote sensing services, Soil Measurements and signal correction services as an extension of the GPS that it provides.

For the purpose of this project, Agromet is participating mainly in WP3 and WP4, by providing its experience in utilizing advanced technologies, agrometeorological stations, IoT technologies and distributed sensor systems, as well as state-of-the-art data collection, analysis and processing techniques, to the project.
