President Biden has called upon USDA to develop a strategy for climate-smart agriculture and forestry as part of a whole of-government effort to addressing the climate crisis.

Over the past months, USDA has heard the views of tribes and stakeholders across agriculture and forestry on how USDA should develop its climate smart agriculture and forestry strategy.

This report reflects some of those initial conversations, and in the coming months USDA will continue to work with them, in order to develop and implement their approach.
